The surname problem, and how to search around it
A large share of the searches that bring people to a page like this are surnames on their own: Curran, Bennett, Myers, Williams, Evans. Every one of those returns more than one professional cricketer, usually across different boards, and search engines default to whichever has the most English-language coverage — which is almost never the Zimbabwean one.
The Curran case is the clearest. Ben Curran has played international cricket for Zimbabwe; his brothers have played for England. A search for the surname alone will hand you the English coverage nearly every time. Why the balance is more interesting than the ranking

If you searched 'Myers' and landed on Caribbean coverage, that is the mix-up you have run into.
Why do surname-only searches give me the wrong player?
